Going through my phone I found this video from the day we went to the event at Greenhouse Park and you girls got to try all kinds of fun things. That was an amazing day!
So the big stop of Day 2 was Kinzua Skywalk . The building pays homage to the viaduct. A good view of the Skywalk: It was covered in snow! Finally getting to the end: And then I cleared off the snow -- or at least enough of it to get a really cool view. (NOT Rayellen's favorite place to visit. It's okay -- there'll be someplace fun for her!) Standing on the glass. How cool! (Don't worry, Raya! Today's post isn't a huge adventure; it's just the drive to Kinzua Skywalk . I got to the campsite after dark so I just pitched the tent rather than wrestle with the hammock and tarps in the cold dark. I stopped at this weird historical site . It was some sort of power plant. I didn't go inside; I just gawked at the outside. The barrel looked pretty cool. Close to Kinzua State Park was a railroad crossing where people have to be told to LOOK and not just drive in front of a train. Next post will be Kinzua Skywalk!
